1. Who is responsible for your information

Justin de Klerk, trading as SWFFTY, is the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). SWFFTY is a sole proprietorship.

2. What we collect

When you ask for a free demo on swffty.com we collect only what the form asks for, plus a few technical details:

• Your business name, type of business and town or area (picked from a list; we also record the country and the coordinates of that town).
• Your Google listing link, if you give one.
• Your mobile number, with its country code.
• The country your connection appears to come from (the IP country). We do not keep your IP address with the lead.
• If we call you: the answers you give, and call recordings and transcripts.
• Analytics about how the site is used, only if you accept analytics cookies.

3. Why we use it, and on what basis

We use your information to build and show you your demo website, to call you about it, to book a walkthrough, and, if you keep the website, to deliver the service.

Our lawful basis is your consent when you submit the form and your request for a demo. You can withdraw consent at any time; see section 8.

To suggest towns while you type, the town field sends what you type, your country and your approximate location (taken from your connection) to Google. The location is used only to rank suggestions and is not stored with your lead.

4. Calls and recordings

By submitting the form you agree that SWFFTY may call you about your demo. Our calls are made by a voice assistant that asks a few questions to fine-tune your demo and offers a time for a short walkthrough. The assistant says at the start that the call may be recorded. If you tell us you do not want to be called, we stop.

5. Who we share it with, and transfers outside South Africa

We use service providers (operators) to process information on our behalf, under their own terms. Several of them process information outside South Africa, so your information may be transferred outside South Africa (section 72 of POPIA). We ask our providers to protect it.

• Cloudflare: hosting, storage and delivery of this website and our systems.
• Twilio: telephone calls.
• ElevenLabs: the voice assistant that makes and handles calls, including recordings and transcripts.
• Google: town search and maps (Places), the calendar entry for your walkthrough, and analytics if you accept it.
• Telegram: internal notifications to the owner. These carry the business name, type, town, country and a short summary, never your phone number.

6. How long we keep it

Our policy is to delete leads that do not become customers after 12 months, and call recordings after 90 days. If you become a customer, we keep what we need to deliver the service and meet our legal obligations.

7. Cookies and analytics

Nothing is stored for analytics until you accept. When you accept, we use Google Analytics with anonymised IP addresses to see which pages help trades find us. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer of every page.

8. Your rights

Write to hello@swffty.com and we will respond within a reasonable time (we may need to confirm who you are first). You may ask us to:

• tell you what information we hold about you (access);
• correct information that is wrong (correction);
• delete your information (deletion);
• stop using it, including for direct marketing (objection), or withdraw your consent.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please tell us first. You may also complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa): inforegulator.org.za, complaints.IR@justice.gov.za. See the Regulator's website for its current contact details.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
